Here's to a brighter 2021.

It's Lit on the Rail Trail

I Heart Rail Trail: Lights, presented by US Bank, is back again this year with six outdoor light installations to brighten up these cold winter days. All six pieces are being curated by local artists. Grab dinner, grab a hot chocolate, and enjoy a fun, safe outing in South End from February 19 - March 7.

Struggling to hit those 10,000 steps?

No need to wait until February 19th to celebrate art - South End Interactive is here and waiting for YOU! Bundle up and talk a walk through South End - from The Gold District to Hawkins Street - to interact with eight murals. All you need is a smart phone to scan a QR code!

If you are venturing out, make your Alchemy reservation and check out Gallery C3 Lab's "Metal and Glass" exhibit, opening tonight. The opening reception will be from 7pm - 9:30 pm, with social distancing, space capacity limits, and face masks enforced.

Celebrate Black History Month

February is Black History Month, and another opportunity to learn about Black history, and support Black-Owned Small Businesses.

Join Central Piedmont Community College throughout February for a "series of Black History Month events to learn about some of the many facets of history and culture that have had an impact in shaping the tapestry of black family life." These events are all virtual and free, and a great opportunity to learn.

In addition, grab take-out from 1501 S. Mint, dessert from BW Sweets, and fun gifts from Three Little Birds and Five13Studio. These businesses are just a handful of the Black-Owned shops that Sound End is lucky to have.

Planning the perfect night in? Let our randomizer decide where you buy your winter candle, bottle of wine, and yummy take-out for the perfect Friday night at the house. Maybe a new blanket to snuggle with too while you binge watch a new show? The randomizer has you covered.
