Discovery Around Every Corner

New Neighbors

New businesses make South End shine, and we are so excited to welcome Early Girl Eatery and Condado Tacos to the neighborhood!

Early Girl Eatery is an Asheville staple that offers all-day breakfast, sourcing local ingredients so you always know where your food is coming from. Hang out on the large patio, or relax inside and bask in natural light from the large windows. Follow Early Girl Eatery on Instagram.

Condado Tacos has brought colorful art and flavorful tacos to their new spot in the Dimensional Building. Try a signature taco or build your own to enjoy while surrounded by murals done by 12 local artists. The mural depicts themes of North Carolina's history in aviation and pirates, as well as fun at Carowins. Follow Condado Tacos on Instagram.

Movies in the Park

Grab your favorite picnic blanket and head to Wilmore Centennial Park on June 4 and June 18 for free children's activities, music, and movies in the park! Encanto is playing on June 4 and Moana on June 18.

Summer Bucket List for Kids

Kid-friendly adventures await in South End. Mixed in among the breweriesrestaurants, and art galleries (although many of those are kid-friendly, too), South End is full of fun activities for the whole family. So grab the kiddos and start working your way through South End’s list of must-do experiences for families.

AAPI-Owned Businesses

South End is a thriving, vibrant, and innovative neighborhood because of the small businesses and art that are part of our community. The neighborhood celebrates diversity every day, but especially during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. From tagging artists on social media to using your purchasing power at retail shops and restaurants, there are plenty of ways to support AAPI-owned businesses and artists in South End
