Dear Contact

We are nearing the end of a full week in lockdown and are excited to announce this great line up of FSC Connect Webinars to help guide, support and educate the sector and consumers as we navigate through alert levels.

There has been great feedback from our FSC Connect Webinars to date. Over the coming weeks, we are aiming to host two FSC Connect Webinars each week focusing on our key areas including, investment and KiwiSaver, life and health insurance, professional advice, and regulation. Click here to view the current line-up.

Do you have a story to tell? If you, or someone in your organisation would like to participate in a webinar or would like to learn more about a specific topic, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to work this into the FSC Connect schedule.

A reminder that Financial Services are not included as ‘Essential Services’ under Alert Level 4. However, registered banks and licensed non-bank deposit taking entities carrying out critical financial services, can operate under Alert Level 4. It is up to you to check your business meets the criteria for operating. Find out more by reading the full Gazette notice here.

We hope to see you online shortly. Stay safe, and please don't hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions.

FSC Covid-19 Response
The FSC are here to guide, support and educate the sector and consumers as we navigate through the coming days and weeks.

We are continuing with a business as usual approach to the majority of activity, which means that committee meetings will remain as scheduled via zoom, and our programme of projects will, at this stage, stay as planned. Our business continuity plan will focus our efforts in three main ways:
  1. Providing insight and guidance to government and regulators
  2. Supporting members and the financial services sector
  3. Educating and informing consumers
Due to uncertainties around lockdowns, we are reviewing our upcoming face-to-face events, including the FSC ReGenerations Conference. Our priority is keeping everyone safe and we will update you following further Government and Ministry of Health guidance.
