To rekindle the fire of your purpose as a spiritual leader or member of your spiritual community.

To renew your spirit through times of reflection, sharing, and celebration.
To question, challenge, and surprise yourself as you discover the depths of your spiritual capacities."

• works on their own premises
• buys, uses their own equipment and supplies
• is responsible to report income to CRA
• is responsible for their own WCB and CPP
• fulfills the requirements of a contract for an agreed price
NOTE to Board:
There is no mention of hours per week or dollars per hour with a contractor. There is a body of work they are expected to fulfill. If they do it in 3 hours – fine. If it takes them 50 hours – fine. That’s why it’s important that expectations are clearly laid out and agreed upon. A contractor can be asked to give a monthly report on how they have fulfilled the requirements of the contract. It is not required that they state how many hours it took them to do so.
It is important that to take care with language (no talk of hourly wage, supervisor, hours per month, salary). CRA has been known to look at business’s practices in these areas and determine that someone meets the criteria of an ‘employee’ and then the business is responsible for back taxes and remittances, benefits etc.
Having a board person to liaise with the contractor is not the same as a supervisor.
24th Annual Unity World Day of Prayer September 14, 2017
"Times of great change challenge us to find our center in the midst of seeming chaos. The spiritual practice of finding peace right where you are, in the midst of any situation, has been the prescription of master teachers through the ages.
Unity is echoing this centuries-old practice during World Day of Prayer 2017, calling for “Peace in the Midst.” We’re engaging people all over the world with renewed spiritual energy to Pray Peace … Be Peace … Do Peace."
Silent Unity® invites you to join us for the 24th annual Unity World Day of Prayer, Thursday, September 14, 2017. Together we affirm: I am peace in the midst of all matters!
