Happy New Years from CIOGC! We have big goals that will be shared soon! So stay tuned! Again none of this would be possible without all of your support and confidence in our resources. We need your help in reaching our goals, either from participating activities, volunteering or making a contribution. Together as a community we can make a difference and make a strong impact for 2022!
Some key initiatives we will focus on for 2022 include:
Increasing participation in our Antiracism Task Force.
Collaboration with other faith and community groups to combat social injustice, systemic racism, and islamophobia.
Increasing civic participation through voter education, voting, advocacy, and legislation.
If you would like the opportunity to join and support these initiatives-
please contact us at info@ciogc.org

Important Mandate for Chicago

Did you know effective January 3, any individual age five and older will be required to show proof of full vaccination to dine indoors, visit gyms, or enjoy entertainment venues where food or drink are being served. The requirement exempts children under five years old and individuals entering an establishment for less than 10 minutes for the purpose of ordering and carrying out food, making a delivery, or using the bathroom. This public health order will remain in effect until the risk of overwhelming the city’s hospital capacity has passed.
