We're planning a fully-Canadian season, with three great play from three Canadian playwrights.

Knickers, A 'Brief' Comedy will kick off the season at the end of October. It follows four women banding together to help their community in times of struggle. After the local paper mill closes, sending the community into an economic depression, their plan of creating a custom underwear business becomes the foundation of the town’s survival.

The Black Bonspiel of Wullie MacCrimmon was postponed from last season to be this year's winter show.  Wullie and his curling rink are so expert that they attract the attention of the Devil herself, who comes to their small Alberta town and makes Wullie an offer hard to resist. The Devil promises Wullie that he'll win the Brier -- if on his death Wullie will undertake to come and curl in hell for the Devil’s team in the Celestial Brier. Wullie makes the Faustian deal -- but with the proviso that he will save his soul if he and his rink can beat the Devil's rink in a challenge match.

7 Stories is planned as our spring production. It is a black comedy by Morris Panych, who also penned our spring 2019 show, Lawrence & Holloman). It premiered at the Arts Club Theatre, Vancouver, BC in May, 1989. The play is set on the seventh storey ledge of an apartment building, in front of several windows. The protagonist, simply named “Man,” stands on the ledge, contemplating a jump, but he is constantly delayed by interruptions from the individuals in the apartments.

Tickets for all three shows are planned for release in September. Watch for future newsletters with pricing details and early-bird discount codes!
