Connecting the past with the present to create our future together.

Welcome to the St. Jerome Parish School Alumni Network! Your alma mater is academically and spiritually alive and strong and we are so excited to share with you some of the great things that are happening at the school today.  We also look forward to sharing alumni news, memories and new opportunities to reconnect!
January is an exciting month as we extend a warm welcome to all former, current and future families and begin planning for our 90th year providing a Catholic education to the children of the Oconomowoc area.  The SJPS Open House and Chili Dinner is January 28 from 4:30-7:30 pm in St. Jerome's Marian Hall. All Alumni are invited to this event FREE OF CHARGE!  Sample some great chili, catch up with old friends, and explore the halls of our beautiful school!
We want to hear from you!  If you have special memories or photos from your time at St. Jerome that you would like to share with us, reflections on what your education has meant to you or ideas for the SJPS Alumni Network, please send us an email at stjeromeschoolalumni@gmail.com.

DID YOU KNOW...
St. Jerome participates in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program?  Through the state's private school voucher program, low- to middle-income families who otherwise might not be able to afford the tuition have the opportunity to give their children the gift of a faith-based education.  What a blessing for us, as well, as we can actively live God's teaching to care for the youngest of His flock.  If you or someone you know would like to learn more about the program, please contact Principal Suzanne Zinda at
suzannezinda@stjerome.org.

LET'S CELEBRATE 90 YEARS!

On SEPTEMBER 30, we hope you can join the festivities as we celebrate the Feast of St. Jerome and the  90th anniversary  of St. Jerome Parish School. We will begin by bringing our St. Jerome community together for a celebration of mass with Archbishop Jerome Listecki and follow with dinner and music.

SNEAK PEEK!!  Check out this preview of the "If Jesus Came to St. Jerome" video created by SJPS students and fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Lisa Adams.  Inspired by the book "If Jesus Came to Visit Me" by Jill Roman Lord, SJPS students tell us what they would do with Jesus if He stopped by for a visit.  What would you do if Jesus came to visit you?

Want to see more?  Watch the St. Jerome Parish Facebook page for the entire video to be posted during Catholic Schools Week.
PROJECT LEAD THE WAY

New to SJPS this year is Project Lead the Way, a STEM-based initiative in which students are immersed in hands-on, real-life, project-based learning initiatives designed to equip them with the skills needed to be competitive in our modern economy.  Under the direction of Mr. Michael Gross, the Junior High Science teacher, SJPS students are in the midst of engineering solutions to help those suffering from Cerebal Palsy. What an amazing opportunity to pair the creativity of these young minds with the power of science and technology! We pray that this may inspire them to use their gifts from God to improve the lives of others as part of their life's vocation.

A special thank you to Mr. Gross for all of the extra hours that he has put in order to give our students this opportunity, the Milwaukee School of Engineering for sponsoring Mr. Gross' Project Lead the Way training, and the generous donor which enabled us to purchase new laptops for the Science department.

Interested in giving back to St. Jerome Parish School?  Whether it be time, talent or treasure, we would love to have the support of our alumni in our mission to deliver a quality Catholic education.  Please contact the school at school@stjerome.org to discuss volunteer opportunities or use the Donate Now button to provide financial support.
