Here's your reminder that a little bit can still mean a lot
A little progress. A short conversation. A small raise. A passing smile. A quick hug.
When we are hoping for big things, it's easy to overlook the little victories and joys. <<First Name>>, I invite you to keep your eyes, ears, and heart open to the little things.
Personal Share: My trip to the east coast has involved lots of last minute changed plans that have been pretty heart wrenching or frustrating. Over the course of 10 days, I had planned to see some special friends, 3 brand new babies (including my nephew), my parents, and to enjoy my entire family being in the same place for the first time in years. Unfortunately, life happened and some of the key people I planned to spend time with are sick with nasty colds or covid, which meant way less baby snuggling than I'd hoped for. It forced me to make tough, but responsible, choices. I want to wallow in what I wasn't able to do, but I'm still overflowing with love for being able to spend a day with my first nephew, meeting my best friend's baby from a distance, and hanging out with my parents in their new home.
Sometimes the tears are stinging heartbreak and sometimes they sparkle with joy. Either way, it seems that it's just an overflow of all the Love my heart wants to share.
