Happy New Year!

2019 Kicked off with a brunch at Doc’s. The approximately 30 attendees enjoyed themselves and shared ideas about the new year. Thanks to Gail Owings for putting that together. Frostbite sailing continues with a light but robust turnout. I was down to watch on the 6th which was a beautiful but windy day.  Nick Place is running a great and safe regatta series.

The first tri-club social will be held on 2 Feb at the Chester River Yacht and Country Club. Please come and enjoy the evening. For info on this and all Club activities please continue to read below.

Sogginess continues to be an issue. All members are urged to remain on the roads in order to avoid leaving ruts on our fine grounds.

The vast amounts of rain have made the grounds soggy.  Please do not drive past an imaginary line running from the pavilion to the school shed.  Members will be held responsible for repairing any damage to the grounds. Plans are being discussed for covering the worst areas to prevent further damage.

Other improvements being discussed include a spar box or similar item for storing more sailing and paddling items and side screens for the pavilion.
