From Fr. Nicholas & Fr. Alexandros:

This Theophany our wish is to bless every home in our community (some of you, we've never been to before!).  While it has become customary in Orthodox culture to offering a monetary gift to the priest when the house is blessed, it is not a requirement. Your clergy are available to you free of charge whenever you need them!
Visit www.stnicholas.org/houseblessings or sign up in the narthex.

What is Theophany (Epiphany)?

About the beginning of our Lord's thirtieth year, John the Forerunner baptized our Lord at His request. The Heavens were opened, the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove upon Jesus and a voice was heard from the Heavens bearing witness that this was the beloved Son of God, now baptized as a man (Matt. 3:13-17; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 3:1-22). From these events the Divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ (that He is God) and the great mystery of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) were demonstrated.
