Jess Oberlin is an emerging multidisciplinary fashion artist patiently gaining attention with JØ two piece suits in the big bad world. That's why there was a collaboration with You Are Here to offer her first official line in the store. YAH has since closed, so in 2017 you can expect a new presentation.

OMG THERE REALLY WAS A LAUNCH PARTY

YAS QUEEN, and it was a dream come true.
WATCH THE AFTER MOVIE

April 1st(no joke) there was a launch party at the beautiful local fashion concept store You Are Here. Jess Oberlin offered her first official line in the store. Arriving in a convoy of old 60's Chevy Bel air's, with a tape deck ghetto blaster, strong crew of supporters and gang flag. Of course the champagne and gin tonics flowed (thanks v2c!) while we chatted and soft danced to some disco. Afterwards we performed a long night of shameless golden Karaoke (shout out to Ameezing!)

BLA BLA BLA .... whats's coming up next?

Well since you asked, here's a few fun projects on the way.
Since releasing and selling out the JØ X JOHAN MOORMAN suit, there's a new pattern concept coming up in 2017 by a female artist. This will of course be accompanied by a party, original visuals and karaoke bar takeover.

Since we've finished the first version of an ever evolving collaborative saucy a visual eye-gasm, it will be presented officially I.R.L somewhere sometime soon.

Furthermore, JØ is working hard on finding new stores to add to her stocklist around the world and will be hosting an exciting new event run by local female artists and musicians.
DANCE CLIP BONUS
Artist Vera Meulendijks took her JØ clip to another level, and sent in a full length dance clip to the tune of one of her favorite bands Dirty fences

More about your Jess
Jess Oberlin was born and raised in a small town in Ontario, Canada in the '90s. From her teenage bedroom, she dared to dream about a Vogue life somewhere in Europe, and always enjoyed karaoke more than most. After a lot of travel, Eindhoven, NL ultimately became the place where she was wanted to settle down.
Jess draws inspiration from that vibrant colorful youth, designing for confident and vivaciously proud boys and girls who do what they want when they want.

A mysterious figure in the design and fashion world, she's cultivated a strong following of creative self-confident young women who live their lives the same way she does; keeping it real, and doing whatever feels right.  She involves these supporters in many of her creative processes, they inspire her in realizing new pattern or design elements, fuel her independent magazine, star in her videos and photo shoots at the most intriguing and foreign locations. Many of these expressions, experiments or events often remain unseen to the general public which evokes the curiosity even more. You Are Here thanks for being my number one.
