SPECIAL EXEC BOARD ELECTION
TO BE CONDUCTED
VIA MAIL & GOOGLE FORMS

Social Distancing practices will likely continue throughout the rest of 2020, making our ability to have in-person meetings impossible. The DNC has approved Google Forms as a secure method for Democratic organizations to conduct business in the age of COVID-19. With the need to hold a special election for Chair and 1st Vice Chair, we will use both Google Forms and mailed paper forms/ballots to conduct the election.

Special Election Process
  1. Check your mail for the election notice and nomination form. Forms will be mailed to all PCs on May 7th. This form is to make nominations for the positions of Chair and 1st Vice Chair. A link will be included to submit a digital Google Form, please only submit one.
  2. Return envelopes must be postmarked by Monday, June 1st or earlier, P.O. Box 681, Yuma AZ, 85350. Digital Forms must be submitted via the linked Google Form by Sunday, May 31st, 11:59 PM.
  3. Nominees will be announced by the meeting on June 11th. Instead of nominations from the floor, 2 nominations and an acceptance are required to qualify for the final ballot.
  4. Ballots will be mailed to PCs by the June 11th meeting. A link to vote via Google Form will be included (and is preferred) with the paper ballot as well. Please only vote once.
  5. Digital ballots must be submitted by Tuesday, June 30th 11:59 PM, envelopes for paper ballots must also be Postmarked June 30th or earlier.
