*Thank you for subscribing to our newsletter. Below is last week's email, in case you missed news of our advent calendar launch.*

Our first ever advent calendar is ready to order! We have put together 24 bottles & cans to see you through the giddy December wait for Father Christmas to break into your home and nick your sherry.

The calendar is something of a love letter to some of our favourite brewers & producers (spoiler – there are a couple of non-beer drinks in there). We guarantee there are some very special drinks within!

Several beers are from breweries that have begun operation since we opened our doors in 2016 – it warms our Christmas cockles to think that other young businesses are putting out such high-quality drinks. The calendar artwork is designed by our very own Amber (buy her jewellery here or check her Instagram) and one of our alumni, Stirling, had a hand in brewing a couple of the included beers.

To order, simply click the button below and complete the email form, or put your name down in-store. There is no need to pay until collection, we just ask for a commitment to buy. Numbers are limited.

These aren't any old cans, these are the first to come off the newly-installed canning line at Brew By Numbers and the first to include their re-designed artwork with a simplified numbering system. They're also a big step in BBNo's transition from bottles to cans, which is a pretty big deal for one of London's best established quality brewers (more on that here -

*Note - we're not stocking the 11 pictured, we instead have 27 DDH Table Pale El Dorado & Citra.
It's always exciting to stock a brewery's first-ever releases, but even more so when they are working with spontaneous fermentation, foraged fruits & herbs and barrel-ageing. Add in time spent as professional foragers and 5 years at Wild Beer Co and you know to expect great things. As these are small batches we only have a handful of bottles

Yonder have set up in the Mendip Hills of Somerset and was born through a passion for foraging, flavour and fermentation. Brews are small batch and crafted using a combination of modern and traditional techniques. Read a little more on the backgrounds of Stuart & Jasper here -
  • Dunstan's Exile - farmed & foraged botanical continental pale
  • Loop Autumn - mixed culture farmhouse ale with foraged plums, damsons & wild thyme
A first for us, Cassels & Sons coming in from Christchurch, New Zealand, established as a 200-litre wood-fired brewery in 2009. Known for their milk stout, we've taken a case of the double cream version, plus their NZ-hopped pils
We should definitely have Burnt Mill's beers in more often. They were deservedly voted the UK's best new brewery in the Ratebeer awards for 2017 and their quality remains tip-top. We have 2 cans going into the fridge and 2 kegs inspired by opposite USA coasts to put on the growler-fill menu soon:
  • Idaho Fog (growler-fill) - soft, juicy & piney tropical NEIPA
  • High Hopes (growler-fill) - resinous West Coast IPA (Citra & Simcoe)
  • Pintle (can) - their house American Pale; light, balanced, fruity & crisp
  • Beyond The Firs (can) - subtly bitter American Pale with tangerine & grapefruit aromas (Columbus & Centennial)

More Kernel Biere de Saison Damson
Dugges Tropic Thunder - legendary tropical sour IPA
Schneider Weisse - Original (Tap 7) & Aventinus (Tap 6)
Burning Sky - Cuvée 2017 & Robust Porter
