He Found His Faith Again

Last month I experienced a “first” – not something I ever wanted to happen. I attended the funeral of a previous student. This student had experienced trouble in his previous school, and he needed a fresh start. He attended our school for both 7th and 8th grades – just four short years ago.  

While paying my respects at the funeral home, conversations with his mom and dad turned to his time at our school. I was reminded once again why Christian schools are so important. The seeds that our staff planted in this student and his family remained strong. His parents were so appreciative of the influence we had on their son. They were grateful that he had the opportunity to be taught by Christian teachers who nurtured him, cared for him, encouraged him, and prayed with him.
