Friend,  we invite you to observe a moment of silence for the extensive loss of life in Turkiye and Syria. We stand in solidarity with the people of Syria & Turkiye, especially since many of our missionaries and team members have family members and friends in the affected regions. Regions that are already grappling with a years-long humanitarian crisis, and deficiency in healthcare services, among other issues. 

In this time of suffering and loss, we intercede for those in need and pray for peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit to be with the people of the Middle East! We pray for those alive and under the rubble so they receive help, and we pray for those working on the ground to find wisdom and strength in rescuing the people.

We know and believe that the Lord is at work even when there seems to be no hope! "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" Psalm 34:18. We pray for a heavenly rescue team to save and restore people. 

Urgent Prayer Requests 

• Pray for those in Eastern Turkiye & Northern Syria as they live through a tragic earthquake. We pray for every man, woman, and child suffering physical and mental hurts. 
• Pray for our missionaries here in Canada, as many have family members and friends in the affected regions. We pray for safety and perseverance during those challenging times.
• Pray for the international community to direct resources, funds and aid to the affected regions.
• Pray for special encounters and testimonies with the Holy Spirit for the affected people. We believe that Lord can touch people's hearts to turn back to Him.
• Pray for the persecuted church of Syria & Turkiya that the Lord uses a ruminate to bring His salvation and breakthrough to the region.
• Pray for the rescue teams & citizens digging through flattened buildings and fighting near-freezing temperatures.
• Pray for the rescue efforts to be directed to the most affected regions and not to be biased based on the ethnic or racial backgrounds of the locals. 

LInC Ministry's Missionaries

The news of the earthquake this morning affected not only the far countries of the Middle East but also has had a tremendous impact on our missionaries and team members here in Canada. As you might know, our missionaries come from Syrian, Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries, and they still have families and friends living back home. Thankfully, their friends and families are alive but terrified and without a home. We continue to support and encourage our missionaries and pray for their families and friends back home.
