Réseau-1 Québec launches three requests for proposals Réseau-1 Québec announces the opening of three competitions in knowledge translation, development and innovation research projects. See the Réseau-1 Québec website for details and registration forms.

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR) post new funding opportunities
Two competitions are now open in the Operating Grants program: SPOR Innovative Clinical Trial Multi-Year Grant, and the SPOR & JDRF Partnership on Innovative Clinical Trials Multi-Year Grant. Letters of intent must be submitted by September 12 and August 8, 2017, respectively.

The 10th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health will focus on discussing the priorities in this field, under the theme "A Decade of Progress and the Path Forward". Submissions for abstracts are accepted until July 25, 2017.

Patient and Public Engagement Evaluation Toolkit
The Centre of Excellence on Partnership with Patients and the Public, in collaboration with the SPOR-SUPPORT Units and other partners, presents an evaluation toolkit containing a variety of resources intended for healthcare system stakeholders and researchers looking to evaluate their patient and public engagement initiatives.

Online Journal Club - Critical Appraisal
The National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools holds an online journal club for participants who want to improve their critical appraisal skills. The August 2, 2017 (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET) session will use the CASP Tool for Randomized Controlled Trials.

Knowledge Translation Basics Course
This 2-day workshop offered by the Knowledge Translation Program, St Michael's Hospital presents the fundamentals of implementing changes using best practices in that field. Applications are open until August 18, 2017.
