All are invited to a monthly family rosary and potluck sponsored by the Lancaster Area Catholic Home Educators.  We meet every 2nd Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Msgr. The Lancaster Area Catholic Home Educators (LACHE) sponsored a first-ever Low Mass and potluck lunch on January 26th.  Over 90 people attended this inaugural event, which included the sacrament of Confession, Low Mass, and a potluck social in Msgr. Thomas H. Smith Social Hall.  Many thanks to Fr. Gregory Eichman, FSSP, for coming to offer the Mass and to our pastor, Fr. Allan Wolfe, for joining everyone.
Traditional Latin Mass
Men's Advisory Panel

The first meeting of the TLM - Men's Advisory Panel was held on January 20th.  Fr. Wolfe generously hosted us in the rectory for two hours of robust discussion about our community and our goals.

The panel has been empowered by Fr. Wolfe to begin drafting, for his approval, a two-year (2017-2018) strategic plan for the TLM community.  The central aim of the plan is to provide greater stability for our community through a canonically-appointed chaplain in-residence at some point in the future. Such an appointment could eventually lead to an earlier Mass time.

Other issues discussed included opportunities for our community's unique charism to enrich parish life through devotional processions throughout the year and related traditional activities. Fr. Wolfe asked us to pray for the assignment of a newly ordained priest to St. Joe's this summer who is trained to help with the TLM.

All men of our community are invited to attend our next meeting on Friday, February 24th at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph's Rectory.  Please RSVP to Mark O'Neill at

There will also be a telephone conference open to anyone on Thursday, February 16 at 8:30 p.m. to plan the agenda for our February 24th meeting with Fr. Wolfe. You may dial in by phone at 585-632-4666 PIN33347 or by using computer microphone at
Parish Registration

Interested in joining the Lancaster Latin Mass Community at St. Joseph's?  If you are already registered at another parish, you may retain that membership and sign up for a "dual membership" with your current parish and St. Joseph's.  To register, please contact Joanne Bauer at the
St. Joseph's Rectory: 717-397-6921.

Fr. Wolfe has agreed that regular expenses for the Latin Mass Community should be reimbursed by the parish. Examples include paper products for socials and other activities, altar server activities, and website costs, etc. If you have these types of expenses, please submit receipts to Donna D'Agostino at the rectory: 717-397-6921.
May Devotions Coordinator Needed
Are you looking for a way to serve our community?  We are currently looking for a volunteer to coordinate Marian devotions in May for our Lancaster Latin Mass community.  Devotions would include a crowning, procession, and a remembrance of the 100th anniversary of Our Lady's apparition at Fatima. Anyone wishing to volunteer, please contact for more information.
The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings,
7 p.m. at St. Joseph's.  If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact Philip Crnkovich at
Traditional Latin Mass
Pentecost Pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres
June 2-6 2017

Encouraged by Pope Benedict XVI, and numerous bishops, over 8,000 pilgrims take part in this annual pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres, with about 750 coming from 20 foreign countries. All are united in prayer to Our Lady during a three-day walk of 70 miles, making this the largest pilgrimage of its kind in Western Europe, both in the distance covered and in the number of pilgrims. Each day, the Traditional Latin Mass is celebrated.
Members of our Latin Mass Community have participated in this once in a lifetime event and received many graces.  Our community hopes to send at least one member to the pilgrimage to pray for the intentions, growth and success of the Latin Mass Community at St. Joseph's Church.

For more information, please call (651) 204-0145.
