We are starting our 25th year in practice with some great schemes to challenge us and keep us focused.
We're Making Places

Only this month we received the good news that our concept for Waltham Forest Council's Making Places initiative has been selected as one of the winners. Our Albert Crescent Long Table scheme envisages a new piece of public realm providing a colourful focus for community and events and gatherings.

Great news that our co-working scheme in Camden was shortlisted for the FX Awards, as a finalist in the 'Workspace Environment' category. It's been such a success that we are working up ideas to extend the space, to include a new food offering and more amenities.

BCO tour of Anomaly's offices

Global marketing agency Anomaly appointed Barr Gazetas to design their new offices, which occupy the 5th and 6th floor at 25 Charterhouse Square. In November, we teamed up with the BCO to host a tour and explain more about its success.

Global CEO Carl Johnson opened the event by telling the packed audience that Anomaly "wins work as people come out of the lifts". He went onto say that it's so good that he wants the whole building!. Good job landlord Helical was there to listen. We're now busy onsite completing the 3rd floor for them.

We are ISO 14001 certified!

Promoting sustainability is at the heart of what we do. In 2016 Barr Gazetas became accredited under ISO 14001 and we are  committed to continual development of our environmental performance.

We have a comprehensive Environmental Policy and Management System, and are always finding ways to reduce our environmental impact at every stage of our design process.

Agile working with Alistair Barr

Our Chair, Alistair, gave a talk on Agile Working at Morgan Lovell's seminar in November 2017. He told the audience how design innovation has been restricted by a narrow view of the contemporary workplace.

Barr Gazetas embraces the concept of agile working design because it offers exciting new opportunities for design innovation.
We look forward to keeping you updated of our work throughout the year. We'll also see you at Mipim where we are part of the London Stand, and in Berlin at the BCO 2018 Conference.
