2nd Saturday Tasting Cancelled due to Snomageddon
Carol and I have decided to stay home and build a fire in the fireplace tomorrow instead of battling our way to winery. This is our first 2nd Saturday snow closure in 16 years. It didn't stop Beau from having a good time in our backyard. We hope to see you all in March if not sooner at the Phinney Neighborhood Association in a few weeks.
Phinney Neighborhood Association Wine Tasting
Saturday, February 23, 7:30 pm

We look forward to this event every year because the Phinney Neighborhood is one of our favorite places in Seattle and because these folks love wine. The key is that you don't have to live there to attend this tasting. Just show up and have a good time tasting wines from 15 Washington wineries.

Admission to the Wine Taste includes ten tastes of wine, elegant hors d’oeuvres, and music–all shared with friends, neighbors and fellow wine drinkers. There will be a wine store so you can purchase your favorite wines.

$25 PNA members | $30 General Public | $10 Designated Driver

2017 MCM Wine Company Viognier/Rousanne is here!
We had plans to pour our new Viognier/Rousanne blend on Saturday, but alas Snomageddon looms. This naturally fermented wine is brimming with the floral expression you expect with these Rhône varietals. We crushed and kept the must with the skins for 5 days before pressing to seasoned oak barrels. This old world custom accentuates the soft and rich finish while showing the tropical fruit flavors of Viognier.
Food and Wine Tour of the Holy Land
Let's explore the food and wine of the Holy Land!
If you have never explored this ancient land, now is the time to join us in this adventure. :Nota Bene is all about fine wines and so will be much of our focus on this trip. Let's see what the Holy Land has to offer at each meal. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Wines have been enjoyed in the Holy Land for thousands of years. I'm sure you've heard the stories. Check out this article from Wine Spectator about the biblical wedding at Cana where water became wine! Trip dates are May 14-24, 2019. See more.
