Smart Irrigation for Your Trees: a workshop with the City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Tree Foundation

Saturday, July 14 9:30A - 11:30A

July is smart irrigation month! City of Sacramento and Sacramento Tree Foundation are partnering to provide a workshop that will help residents identify water deficiencies in young and mature trees and learn how to water trees with various irrigation systems while saving water and following the City’s new watering ordinance. Having healthy trees at your home will improve air quality, provide shade in hot summer months, save you money on your electricity bill and will improve your property value. Smart choices and watering methods are key to keeping your trees alive and healthy in a water wise landscape. Attendees will receive free hose timers and there will be a drawing at the workshop where one lucky person will receive a smart irrigation controller.
