Just a reminder today (Nov 29th) at 5:30pm, the city of Sacramento Planning Commission will discuss a proposed ordinance affecting development within ½ mile of light rail stations. This includes most or all of Elmhurst.  If you reside within 1/2 mile of a lights rail station you should  have received notice about this proposed ordinance early this month.

The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers in the New City Hall behind 915 I Street.

The proposal is scheduled to come before the City Council on Tuesday, December 11 at 5 pm.

The proposed ordinance and concerns about the possibility of increasing residential densities in Elmhurst will also be discussed at the upcoming ENA Board meeting on Monday, December 10. ( see below) 


ENA Board meets, Monday, December 10th @ 6:30pm.  The meeting will begin with an update on Sacramento Regional Transit, presented by RT’s Marketing and Communications Specialist, Francisco Medina

Mr. Medina will provide information about RT’s new fare changes, Smart Ride, Sac RT Forward and other new changes and programs at RT. 

Following the presentation, at 7pm, the regular monthly ENA Board meeting will begin.  Gold Run room, Coloma Center, 4623 T St.
