"Responding to Hidden Bias" Workshop

This workshop is at the request of those whoalready attended the Exposing Hidden Bias workshops focused on increasing awareness of unconscious bias and strategies for avoiding its impact in our work and relationships. We encourage attendance at the Exposing Hidden Bias workshop as a baseline prior to registering for the Responding to Hidden Bias workshop. The CTLT hosts book circles throughout the academic year and during summers. They are open to all Cal Poly faculty and staff. Selected books draw from a broad array of genres and fields- titles of interest this summer include: "Drylongso: A Self-Portrait of Black America" and "Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do."
