Dear <<First Name>>,

It's hard to believe we're already coming to the end of the summer season. Before you know it, the leaves will be a brilliant blend of bright reds and oranges, and we'll be sharing some scary recipes, as well.

For now, though, we're too busy celebrating the two REX awards we earned this year: Bath Excellence – $55,000 to $75,000 category and Get-Away Room – More Than $50,000 category. These were special projects, and I'm really proud of the work our team and partners put into making them winners. An even bigger honor during the virtual awards ceremony, however, was being selected by my peers to receive the 2020 Remodelers Council Remodeler of the Year award. That's something I will always be proud of.

We might have gotten off to a slow start this year, but we've definitely stayed busy since construction reopened. Mortgage rates are surprisingly low, so if you've been considering a remodel, then refinancing your home and using some of your equity may be a viable option and an investment where you can recoup your costs.

Since we are headed into the last days of summer, it's a good time to finish up any outdoor maintenance that needs done.

Dream big,

April Bettinger

Refinancing to remodel your home may be something you are considering. A remodel is not only a monetary investment but a contribution to your health and happiness as well. We all have been spending more time in our homes, and you may have discovered an appreciation for your own sanctuary. However, you have probably also been reminded of all the aspects of your space that are not ideal – little changes you have thought about making over the years.

Maintenance Tips
This is a good time of year to do any touch-up painting that may be necessary outside. Whether it's the siding on your house, the stain on your fence, or a waterproof coating on your deck, grab a paint brush! Here are some other chores you can get done before the weather turns:
  • Regrade soil around your foundation
  • Inspect your foundation for cracks and repair them
  • Inspect your furnace
  • Make fence repairs
And it might seem too warm to matter, but it's also a good idea to buy a snow shovel (if you don't already have one) when you see them in stores.
