What are your plans for the future?

My plans are to get an internship this summer in Sports PR, and then to look for a full-time job around the start of next school year! I want another internship to get another foot in the door and get some experience before jumping in full-time.

What opportunities have you had at UNW?

My first two years at UNW I was full time PSEO. Last year, I didn't do much with COVID precautions. This year I have been part of CORE, the student leadership group that plans events for students. I have also worked with Academic Achievement and KTIS.

What is your favorite thing about UNW?

My favorite thing about UNW is the real friendships that come out of time here. It took me a while to find my people, but now that I have, I am so thankful for the friendships I have made through the University of Northwestern.

Where has life taken you after UNW?

Currently, I work at Life 102.5 in Madison, WI as the Morning Show Producer and Listener Engagement Director!

What advice do you have for current students?

Stay humble. Stay teachable. Those are two of the biggest pieces of advice I've been given, and they've helped me so much. When you stay humble and teachable, you have the opportunity to go far in your studies, in your career, and in life. None of us ever has all the answers, but when we leave room for someone to teach us, or even share a different opinion, we can grow in who we are as individuals and in our relationships with God and other people.
