Let go of the Stress and Tap into your Life!

You Always Have a Choice!
You always have a choice.  Is this true?
There are situations where it may seem like you have no choice.

Like when I get sick, or a friend or family member is not well.
Like when my partner decides to end our relationship.
Like when I get laid off from my job.
Like when someone treats me disrespectfully.
Like when I am stuck in a situation I don’t want to be in.

So do I have a choice?  What would those choices be?

I can always choose
the way I feel moving through this experience
(or at least start to address the way I feel about it).
I can choose how I will respond to this situation. 
I can choose how I will treat others as well as myself.
I can choose who I will be.

How would I start to do this?

You can try to simply start with where you are, right now.  Just try to be aware of the choices you have made, how you have chosen to feel, the thoughts you have chosen to believe.  Do they serve you?  
As you allow yourself to be aware of how your choices “make you feel”, notice that you could choose to let the feelings go (we are not our feelings).  
Be patient with yourself.  Work on yourself a little at a time. Try meridian tapping, meditation, journaling, art.  Choose what is right for you.  Get some help or support if you need it.

I always have a choice.
I choose what feels better to me.
I make choices that allow myself to feel my strength, my freedom, my compassion.
I always have a choice. 

Choose to make change from the inside out, choose to change what you have control over - your thoughts, your emotions, your beliefs, your actions.  

This choice is always yours to make.

"Dealing with Stress"

Support & Coaching Drop in Sessions with Lisa Kopil

During these monthly drop-in sessions we will address how stress affects us and different techniques that can be used to let go of stress, change our thinking/beliefs about what is causing the stress and bring more clarity, grounding and health into our daily lives.  Come out to share, connect, discuss and get a new perspective or new ideas on how to deal with the stress in your life.

Monthly drop in sessions will be held at the Carp Ridge Wellness Center every 2nd Thursday of the month (9:30am to 10:30am) and every last Wed of the month (7:00 to 8:00pm).

Location: Carp Ridge Ecowellness Center (Main clinic 4596 Carp Road, Carp, ON)
Fee: By Donation
