Let go of the Stress and Tap into your Life!

Life's Lessons

I wanted to share these notes from from my journal that I wrote down after a meditation out on the back deck a few weeks ago, giving me a clearer picture of the vital importance that all the answers and solutions are found inside ourselves.  This is a message that I remind myself of every day. 

In moments of forgetting that we are the creators of our lives,
we notice we want or need something -
because we believe we don’t have it.

We can’t see it or find it from the perpective we have.
So we turn our attention and focus
to the outside, looking for it.
Out there.
   In another person.
      In our work.
         In our environment.
            At the mall.

And when “they” don’t give us what we need,
We react...
         We blame them.
         We blame ourselves.
         We lash out, feeling angry.
         We retreat feeling rejected, resentful.  And so much more.

We create beliefs about why they aren’t giving us what we need.
Beliefs about them, about ourselves, about the world.
And we live with this pain.

And all along, we only had to turn our attention back to ourselves,
to our own power to give ourselves what we need.
By finding our pain. Meeting it. Holding it with love and compassion. Then letting the pain go. 

When we simply give ourselves what we need, allowing the feelings we want to feel,
when we find what we are looking for inside ourselves,
All those old beliefs about ourselves, about others, about the world just fall away...
     And we are free...
          to just love and appreciate ourselves
                     Love and appreciate others
                     Love and appreciate the world.

And from this place, we can create anything we want!

"Dealing with Stress"

Support & Coaching Drop in Sessions with Lisa Kopil

During these monthly drop-in sessions we will address how stress affects us and different techniques that can be used to let go of stress, change our thinking/beliefs about what is causing the stress and bring more clarity, grounding and health into our daily lives.  Come out to share, connect, discuss and get a new perspective or new ideas on how to deal with the stress in your life.

Monthly drop in sessions will be held at the Carp Ridge Wellness Center every 2nd Thursday of the month (10:30 to 11:30am) and every last Wed of the month (7:00 to 8:00pm).

Location: Carp Ridge Ecowellness Center (Main clinic 4596 Carp Road, Carp, ON)
Fee: By Donation

Open to all levels of practice
Cost: by donation at each class.  
Pre registration is not necessary.
I will be co-facilitating, with the wonderful Karen Jones, the Fall Retreat at the Carp Ridge Wellness center on Oct. 25-27th - It will be a weekend of self care, of rest, rejuvenation, gaining information and learning techniques, skills, exercises that you can take back home with you.

The weekend includes:
- morning meditations 
- identifying and nourishing your Ayurvedic body type (Dr. Katherine Willow ND)
- Yoga (Don Caldwell)
- Meridian Tapping (Lisa Kopil)
- Healing Art
- Meditation Walk 
- Sound and Light language meditation (Karen Jones)
- music (guitar and chanting) 
- Hydrotherapy (Dr. Marcin Padlewski ND)
- Tension Release Exercises
- Restorative Yoga poses
- Opening and Closing Circle
- Sharing and connecting within a supportive group environment 
- Delicious, nourishing and cleaning meals

Affordable on-site accomodations available.

Introduction to Meridian Tapping

During this free 30 minute session to tapping, you will be introduced to the basic concepts and how it can work for you.
