We all love a good story, especially when it helps reinforce the learning. Narrative pedagogy has also been attributed to creating more comfortable learning communities, which of course leads to greater learning. The Facilitator Development Workshop (FDW) is designed primarily for individuals who will be conducting the ISW at an institution. It is recommended that individuals participate in an ISW prior to applying for the FDW. The FDW provides individuals with an opportunity for professional development in a challenging and supportive atmosphere and provides connections to a larger instructional development network.
