The Augusta District United Methodist Women ended the 2019 year with a celebration of 150 years of Women in Mission at Milledgeville First United Methodist Church. The Annual Meeting was hosted by the gracious ladies of the UMW unit. There was a time period fashion show and many units shared their history.
Reverend Janet Cavin was the speaker.
At this meeting we honored the retiring treasurer for the district, Nancy Gallagher . Nancy has served the Augusta district United Methodist women for over 20 years.
Thank you to all who attended. Thank you to the ladies of Milledgeville First for hosting. A special thank you to Nancy Gallagher for her service!
For 2020 The United Methodist women plan to have a Spring meeting March 28 at Mistletoe State Park. We are looking forward to continuing to serve the Augusta district through the efforts of United Methodist women.
