Goal Keepers Needed
The club is experiencing a goal keeper shortage across all levels. If you would be interested in padding up to be the last line of defence please let us know. Experience and gear is not needed, the club will be able to help you out with both.
Call out for Coaches & Managers...
The success of our teams and the club relies on our volunteers. We are currently in need  of managers across all teams and coaches for several junior teams, for the Mens Prov 4  team and Women's Metro 3's team. If anyone is interested please contact us.
Shaken Not Stirred
Fancy yourself as a bit of a bar tender? The club is currently looking for player, parents, family or friends who hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate to get involved and help on during the season in the bar. This is a great chance to get more involved in the club and get to know your fellow Falcon's in a bit more of a social setting. If you don't have a RSA never fear they are cheap, don't take long to do and can be completed online. Click here to check out some providers.
Club Canteen
The canteen is planned to be a key source of fundraising for the club in 2017. Planning is underway for the canteen to be open during club training and home games. The kitchen is a little bare at the moment and in order to get the canteen up and running the club are asking for any donations of kitchenware and utensils etc that could be used. Email to let us know what you might have and to arrange drop off.
The success of functions and event for the club through out the year will rely on donations of items as prizes for raffles and events such as the planned Bogan Bingo or our annual quiz night. If anyone has any items they might like to donate please let us know.
Sponsors Needed
The club is on the look out for new Sponsors to help support our players. Penny Carman is the Sponsor Coordinator for the club and is keen to hear from anyone who might be able to, or knows someone who could sponsor the club. There are numerous sponsor options available and every sponsorship will help support the club and the players.

As an added incentive anyone that recommends a sponsor to Penny, which results in them sponsoring the club will get 20% of the value of the sponsorship credited to their membership fees.

Contact Penny for further information.
Umpiring Clinic
An umpiring clinic is planned for early in the season at Coolamon Oval. This will be a great chance for Seniors, Juniors wanting to umpire and parents to improve their umpiring knowledge and skills. If interested please contact Mark Whyte.

For those involved in the pre-season grass carnival , there will be  6 men's teams and 5 women's.

  • Games will be of two 15 min halves with 5 min half time.
  • There will be 4 games with 15 min between games.
  • One women's team will have a bye each round.
  • Games are 9-a-side (more if both teams agree)
  • Each team needs to supply their own umpire.

Games commence at 2 pm so please be at grounds earlier, club rooms will be open from 1 pm on wards. Presentations and BBQ will follow after games have finished. Hockey International will be at club rooms on the day for players to purchase their equipment at special rates.
