Meet the IALP Class of 2023
 Matt Turner, Bellflower, is a corn and soybean farmer with his family in McLean, Champaign, and Piatt counties. He and his family produce corn, soybeans, seed corn, seed beans, and non-gmo corn. Their operation also has installed 1 million feet of drainage tile. Matt earned his Certified Crop Advisor certification in 2017. Matt worked in Ag retail as a Crops Associate at Evergreen FS and as a crops specialist at Piatt Country Service Company before joining his family farm in the fall of 2018. He is a graduate of Illinois State University, receiving a degree in Ag Business and Agronomy. Matt was a member of the AGR Fraternity where he served as noble ruler.

Alumni News

   Alumni Doug Schroeder (IALP '90) has been in the news as of late. He recently offered a very valued basketball to help benefit the Mahomet Area Youth Club. The ball has been signed by every Illini men's basketball coach since Lou Henson. You can read more here.
   Doug has also been named a 2022 Master Farmer by Prairie Farmer magazine. Master Farmers are chosen based on their, "exceptional agricultural production skills, commitment to family, and service to the community." You can read more here

National Study Seminar
