Okay, LASSA organizes events, but what else does it do?

LASSA's job is to represent and advocate for students at SLAIS to SLAIS itself. That means we need your involvement to actually be able to do things you want, or represent you.

Every student at SLAIS pays into LASSA with their fees, and how we allocate those fees is up to us and other students to decide. This includes funding to student groups like ACA, ALA, ASIS&T, CHLA, LWB, PLG, See Also, and YAACS. Do you have a project that you want to get done through one of these groups? We can help you get funding for it!

Our meetings are open to all students, and we are always welcome to feedback by email or in person.
