We warmly invite you to next event and annual general meeting. Our guest speaker is Nick Moore from Languages International. Nick will present an update of their ESP project designed to promote literacy and communication skills in a volunteer network.
As many of us collaborate with volunteers and teacher aides to help our ELLs, come and learn how Nick and colleagues have successfully engaged with volunteers to assist in the care sector.

CLESOL Retold, Owen Glenn Building, University of Auckland - November 25, 2016.
We wish to thank our key note speaker, John Read, and all the presenters for sharing their expertise, research, and valuable insights. We really appreciate their generous time and energy to make this event possible.
At our CLESOL Retold event, Denise McKay was officially acknowledged for her significant contributions to TESOLANZ as a long standing executive member. Denise stood down at the AGM in July 2016 and had managed to avoid a public farewell until now! Her contributions on the national executive have included being president, treasurer, and most recently SIG liaison. Denise's extensive knowledge and understanding of the secondary school sector has been invaluable and although no longer officially on the executive, she continues to be involved in discussions relating to this sector. Denise continues to be actively involved in AKTESOL events and we look forward to this continuing. Thank you Denise.
