Here's the latest information for music leaders in our parish

Mass This Weekend

Fourth Sunday of Lent - 21 and 22 March

Following Diocesan directives, Masses on Saturday evening and Sunday will be celebrated outside under the shelter near the Garfield Street carpark.  Use of music has been restricted to shorten the time of Mass

What can Music Ministers do?

Music ministers may choose to lead the assembly in singing, unaccompanied, the following:
  • The Lenten Gospel Acclamation by Lucien Deiss: "Glory and praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ" (no verse required)
  • The Sanctus (Holy, Holy), Memorial Acclamation and Great Amen from Mass of St Francis by Paul Taylor
There will be no other music.

Music ministers are not obliged to attend Mass and provide music at this time.  Masses can proceed without music and singing. If you are unwell, do not attend Mass.

Bishop Vincent has dispensed all Catholics in the Diocese of their Sunday obligation.
