The Orchestra 2001 family deeply mourns the loss of actress, singer, and our long-time friend and collaborator, Ann Crumb. Ann passed away yesterday morning at her parents home in Media, PA.

We would like to share photos from recent tours where Ann was our brilliant featured soloist, singing music by her father, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, George Crumb. Orchestra 2001 was the extremely fortunate recipient of Mr. Crumb's decade-long output of American Songbooks, all inspired by Ann, in a project that allowed them to work together for over a decade.

We send our most sincere condolences to the entire Crumb family – her parents George and Elizabeth, and brothers Peter and David.
