Community Pancake Breakfast
This Saturday October 19th, St. John's is hosting a Free Community Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m!  We are reaching out to the local community to find out any local needs and to show the church with some history. The breakfast will be pancakes, sausage, coffee or juice, and conversation!  We invite all church members to come and bring friends.  All are welcome.   We need help to make and serve breakfast, to listen to the community concerns and answer any questions. It would be helpful if you could arrive by 7:30 for set up.
Bettie Hutcherson is the committee chair, and she can be contacted with any questions.

                      Service Information

After much work by the Vestry, the Rev. Tony Andres has agreed to be the Interim Vicar for St. John's!  Please join us on Sunday for his stirring and thought provoking services!  He has agreed to stay with us for about a year, and his term began on October 1st.
After fellowship time, he is offering informational or Bible study teaching.  He makes this very interesting and engaging.  You are invited!

Apologies to all for the absence of the newsletter for so long.  Hopefully these will come out more regularly.

Prayers of the Parish

In our worship, we pray each other's prayers together, and in our daily lives may we also pray the prayers of the parish community.

We pray for members and friends of our church community, including:
Margaret Anderson, Lori Boles, Rod Devlin, Carrie Farish, Claude Johnson,
Krista and Jesse Madden Gary Miller, Jeffery Shaver, Ruth Shaver,

The sympathy of the parish is given to:
