Fines and Jail Time?

You better be careful how you refer to people!

California is poised to turn a blind eye to the U.S. Constitution with expected passage of bill that forces an agenda on nursing homes.

The California Senate has passed and sent to the Assembly a bill that would criminalize politically incorrect references to transgender people living in nursing homes, whether those facilities are private, faith-based, for-profit, or non-profit. In the case of a transgender patient who is male, the nursing home and staff must refer to him as her or face up to a $1,000 fine and a maximum year in prison.  Yes, you read this right.  Fines and prison for WHAT???????  Oh, calling a man a man or a woman a woman?

This week a Rocklin first grade girl saw her friend from her Kindergarten class.  Happy to see him, she went up to him and called him by his boy name (which was his name last school year).  That little girl was reprimanded on the playground in front of other kids and then asked to leave her classroom to go to the principal’s office for more reprimand.

What are we coming to here in California?  In a small conservative bedroom community, our innocent children are humiliated for referencing someone by their proper gender.  Did she know he changed his name to a girl name?  Does she even understand?  I might ask if the little boy whose name was changed really knows what he’s saying by changing his name?  What about the trauma they inflicted on that innocent little girl?

The fact that people with a conscience must violate their conscience and talk and refer to someone differently than what they know deep down they really are is a very, very severe blow to human rights all for placating a very extremist agenda.  The fact that if you look at a person and they look like a man to you and you call them sir could be illegal is beyond any logic, let alone freedom of speech.

We must stand up.  We must be counted.  We must be courageous.  We can’t let them win.  The cost is too great.  Our very existence as a society is at stake.  It’s no longer about over taxation and over regulation, though those are surely great motivating factors to ask for representation.  Our voice is silent.  We have no one representing us so things like this happen more and more until we are under complete control of a tyrannical government.
We are self-governing by nature.  We have the opportunity to carve our path to freedom but the window is for a short time.  Now is the time.  We must act.

It's not time for 51 - it's PAST time.  Let's make it happen!
