FUNDRAISERS! FUNDRAISERS!
|
|
Come join us for
Fun, Friends and Fellowship
On Saturday, February 16th, we will have a gathering of great patriots to talk about and to hear about Liberty! It will be at the VFW Hall, 3210 W Center St in Anderson. Come between 4pm and 7pm. We will be raffling off a safe with a special treat inside! There is a possibility of an open bar but it is tentative at this time. Food will not be available.
Please help us to raise funds for our court case that is heading to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Greetings from Jefferson!
|
|
A fundraising idea is being organized by Patty Smith for greeting cards with photos, poetry, greetings, etc., available to each county via email. Each group would print and sell their own cards. Poetry, cute, funny, sentimental greetings and even sketches are welcomed . The only criteria is that the images are from somewhere in Jefferson and that each one is identified as to where it was taken.
Card stock and envelopes (stationary envelopes) can be purchased at Wal Mart for reasonable prices. The image above shows blank cards that are currently being sold to co-workers by a Jeffersonian's daughter. She uses the following:
Clear plastic sleeves
Avery note cards
Return address labels (for the information on the back of the card)
Snapfish 4 x 5.3 prints to attach to the note cards. It looks as if the website has them at .09 a print, but you may have to pay shipping on top of that. Whereas if you use the phone app to upload photos and get the 100 free prints, the shipping is all you pay which works out to about .10 a print total or $9.73 (based on her last order). As a side note, you may find a coupon code for free shipping.
Patty needs a database of contact information for leadership in every county. If you'd like to have images, greetings and templates accessible for your county to create cards for a fundraiser, please send an email to Patty Smith (Tehama) at smipatty@gmail.com and she will put you into her database. Everyone has nice photos of something beautiful, funny or fitting for greeting cards. Send your photos (jpgs.) or questions by email to Patty.
