In October, I spent most of my time exploring the villages and forests of Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh. I was invited to explore the jungles of Bandhavgarh and find the tiger in its jungle. My friend Gagan Gahlot has a jungle resort there. It was the best place for me to explore the village and the forest. I learnt about the lives of Adivasis, how they go about making handcraft and the magical patterns of Gond art.
After doing four safaris, I did manage to finally sight the tiger along with seeing many deer and bucks. The jungle held great charm for me as I learnt about the different animal calls, not to mention, spotting a black snake in the resort itself. The jungle and the life of its people were astutely captured on my camera, which I will share with you through my video blogs soon.
I was also successful in launching my second book Blogging for Gold that went live on Amazon, Kindle and Google Play. Priced at Rs 99 (ebook), it is a steal and full of knowledge on blogging and how to make money from your blog.
I wrote a jungle poem and even my first jungle story called Once Upon A Time In A Forest. However, most of all, it was the sunset at Bandhavgarh that will stay with me and, of course, the wild sounds of the forest.
Till then, happy reading
