Dear Families and Friends,
Happy New Year!  Welcome to 2019!  The
faculty is busy preparing for Catholic Schools Week, so your children have probably been talking about some of the work they have been doing.  We hope you are able to join us for Open House which kicks off CSW on Sunday, January 27th from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.  Grandpersons Day and Mass is planned for Friday, February 1st at 8:30 a.m. here at OLSH.  The Book Fair will be open in the Marion Room following mass.  Grandpersons will be asked to exit the building at 10:30 a.m. so that we can prepare for lunch.  In the afternoon, we ask for prayers for our 8th graders who will have to compete against our AMAZING faculty in a volleyball match.

Reach for the Stars will resume this Thursday, January 10th after school.
Please don't forget to complete your application for One Faith, One Love Scholarships  through the Catholic Education Foundation for next school year.  Please click on this link for more information:  http://www.stnacademy.org/images/uploads/documents/CEF-Poster-_-English-_-Final.pdf

The second event is a cornhole tournament on January 26th at St. John's in Deer Park.  Save the date!
  HOLY TRINITY PARISHIONERS
Father Ray wants to convey the following information to clear up some confusion among Holy Trinity parishioners.

     1. Holy Trinity can no longer afford to support the school with the regular covenant payment - 10% of yearly income.

     2. However, Holy Trinity will continue to do as it always has - to assist families who send children to Catholic schools.  The amount awarded is based on the report from FACTS, family need, and the amount the parish has available for assistance.  This is generally done in April or May.

  Teacher Requests
We are in need of empty cereal boxes for a CSW project.  They can be flattened or still in box shape.  Please send these to the office.

We are still in need of milk gallon jugs!  Please continue to send those in to Mrs. Graler.
