This is Maggie's Annual Holiday Greens Sale. We're real excited to be a part of it this season. She'll have plenty of amazing greens and holiday decorations for your home. Deb of Cleveland Bread Co., Diana of The Tea and Honey Co., Barb with Goodness Gracious Granola, and Cross Brothers Maple Syrup plan to have their products available as well. It will be held in Maggie and Justin's barn- so don't let any inclement weather keep you away!

*We still have PorkShares, pastured pork and grass-fed beef sampler boxes, sausage boxes, burgers boxes, and individual cuts available.

It's not too early to start thinking about the holidays!
Reserve your pastured meats for the holiday season. We have sirloin tip roast, rump roast, pork tenderloin, and pork loin roast available.

It's a heifer!
It's a bull calf!
We woke up to our first frost Wednesday morning. Sparkling white and crisp as I went to the back field to open up pasture for the cattle. This is going to take some getting used to! Hoping the freeze holds off for another couple weeks, there's garlic and comfrey that still need to get in the ground.
Two new additions to our herd to celebrate: a little heifer calf and a bull calf. Both mammas and calves are doing very well. We still need to give them "official" names, but for now we're calling the heifer, born first, Ghostly Tiny and the bull calf, born last Friday, Ghostly Tinier. So sweet!

The sows have been moved into their over-wintering paddock. The feeder pigs are in a transition pen, as we prepare their over-wintering area for them. Each task that we check off the winter preparation list feels like such an accomplishment! We're not ready for the snow yet, but we will be..

Our Farmer's Market season has officially come to an end for the year. Willoughby Folks, sorry we weren't able to make it out to the last market! Thank you all for your support and encouragement- it was a great season! The end of the farmers' markets doesn't mean that you have to go without our pastured pork and grass-fed beef. We'll be sending out a newsletter once a month to let you know where you can find us until farmers markets start up again. Hope to see you!
