Dear St. Mark's Parishioners,
St. Mark’s and All Saints' Shared Ministry
On March 1, 2023 St. Mark’s and All Saints' will embark on a new venture, which the Vestry of each church finds very exciting. Dawn-Victoria will begin to serve both churches. It will be a ⅔ to ⅓ split of time, with the ⅔ amount being at St. Mark’s and the ⅓ at All Saints'. How this time will be spent will be determined by Dawn-Victoria. At this time Dawn-Victoria will be in the office at St. Mark’s on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am to 5pm. Wednesday will be an office day at All Saints'. She will be available to members of either parish by cell phone at any given time.
Church Services will be as follows:
Saturday 5:00 pm at All Saints'
Sunday 9:00 am at St. Mark’s
Sunday11:00 am at All Saints'
Please feel free to attend any service that interests you at either church. All Saints' does offer music at the 11:00 am service on Sunday. Church programs will be open to members of both parishes and may be offered on-line or in-person at either church building. Watch the bulletin, emails, and the Lion’s Roar for details. All Saints' will be contributing financially to this arrangement. The Vestries see this as an opportunity to build community between the two churches. We hope this is a positive experience for all.
A steering committee has been formed consisting of Sue Phelps and Carl Wright from St. Mark's and Debbie Thorpe and Judy Horton from All Saints'. This committee will meet on a regular basis to discuss how the Shared Ministry is going and to iron out any difficulties. They are available for comments and suggestions.

Lenten Offerings
Deacon Dorothy Pierce is leading two offerings for St. Mark’s and All Saints’ parishioners this Lent:
- A Lenten Study on Tuesdays at All Saints' Church from 4-6pm starting 28 February. Soup and bread will be provided. This is an in-person offering.

Entering a new “Realm”
Greetings! As most of you know, St Mark’s uses the software program “Realm” to manage the administration of St Marks. We’ve updated our subscription to both keep costs to a minimum while keeping the functions that we need. 99% of what we currently use remains unchanged. The mobile app with online/text giving remains unchanged. Everyone who uses the App to see their giving history and profile information will still be able to do so.
Starting 1 March 2023, the Realm group functions, congregation Check-in, and Volunteer Management are being discontinued. (We did not use these functions, so no one is being affected by the change).
One aspect that may affect SOME is the Communication portion of Realm. If anyone used Realm Communications services via the App or website to send messages to other members of the congregation or to Rev Dawn-Victoria—that function is being discontinued 1 March.
Rev Dawn-Victoria’s eNotes, and other St Marks email information will, of course, continue to all using “regular” email services (ie Gmail, Outlook, etc).

Youth Arty Party
Join us as we have fun painting and crafting on Sunday, 5 March from 4-6pm at St. Mark’s. Snacks and drinks will be on hand to fuel our artistic efforts.
Feel free to bring your own crafting/art supplies. A variety of supplies will also be on hand.
Sunday School & Nursery Returns
Lent Sunday School and Nursery will be offered at St. Mark’s starting on Sunday, 26 February.

Easter Flowers
“Sponsor an Easter Plant” in memory, celebration and/or thanksgiving on Easter Sunday, April 9th. Donation is $20.00 to the Altar Guild.
You can take a plant home after the Easter Sunday service. There will be a variety of lilies, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, etc. Fill out the form in Sunday’s bulletin or e-mail Sue Phelps at williamsphelps.susan@gmail.com. Thank you for your support!

Lent Madness is back!!!!
Grab your Scorecard, read up, fill out your bracket to join in the Madness. St. Mark’s is hosting a friendly competition. Complete a card with your name and who you think will win the Golden Halo. The winner will receive a St. Mark’s t-shirt. Must enter by 12 March.

Tuesday March 14th, at 8:30am.
Join us at St. Mark's undercroft for food & fellowship! Bring a dish to pass or just yourself. We always have plenty.

Please donate canned soups and fruits.

Coffee Hour is back!! Please be sure to sign up to host. Just bring some sweets or other treats and leave them on the table in the undercroft. Coffee, hot water, and bottled water are always available. Make it fun and pair up with a friend -- easy peasy!!

Dawn-Victoria is now blogging!! You can catch her blog at revdvmdesk.blogspot.com. A new blog comes out about every other week. She covers a wide range of subjects including Episcopal trivia, liturgical matters, and general musings about church life. Sign up and follow her today! Feel free to suggest a topic for her to cover.

Video Volunteers Needed!
We are still looking for people to record Sunday Service. We stream to FB and YouTube and need people to fill in on Sunday morning. We will train you on using the cameras and iPad to record. It's as easy as turning on the cameras and hitting the record button.
