Dear Ones,
I write as 2022 comes to a close. Soon 2023 will be upon us. A new year, ripe with possibilities.
St. Mark’s Vestry voted at the December meeting to switch to ONE worship service on Sunday. This enables us to all worship together as one. Starting on Sunday, 1 January worship will be at 9 a.m. only until the Spring. The Vestry will consider how this is working and your feedback to see if any further change is needed.
We are very saddened by the retirements of both Cindi Ferranti and Kathy Lasicki. Mrs. Music enriched St. Mark’s 10 a.m. service with her gift of music for almost thirty years. Kathy has been a fixture in St. Mark’s office for many years with her gifts of humor and dedication. We honored Cindi in December. We’ll take time in January (TBD) to celebrate Kathy. We wish them both well!

YOUTH CORNER
St. Mark’s youth and friends are invited to join us on Sunday, 8 January for food and fellowship at a movie night. We’ll gather in the Lounge at 4p to watch “BUZZ LIGHTYEAR.” Bring your favorite snack to share. Water and soda will be provided.

St. Mark’s Annual Meeting and Election
Join us here at St. Mark’s for the our Annual Meeting and Election. We’ll hear highlights of our life and ministry together in 2022. We’ll also dream about what God might have in store for us in 2023. New members will be elected to the Vestry as well.
The Annual Meeting and Election will take place in the Undercroft following Sunday worship on 22 January. Please bring a brunch dish to pass. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided. There will be a Zoom link for those who wish to join us remotely.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who sponsored a poinsettia so our altar looked festive for Christmas. It was a big success!
Thank you too for those who donated to the toy drive for Project Concern. We collected over 40 new or gently used toys so children in our community received gifts too.

Coffee Hour is back!! Please be sure to sign up to host. Just bring some sweets or other treats and leave them on the table in the undercroft. Coffee, hot water, and bottled water are always available. Easy Peasy!!

Video Volunteers Needed!
We are still looking for people to record Sunday Service. We stream to FB and YouTube and need people to fill in on Sunday morning. We will train you on using the cameras and iPad to record. It's as easy as turning on the cameras and hitting the record button.
