Meet the Calm, Cool, Crazy, Somewhere/Nowhere, Mile-Ex

This neighbourhood has a bit of ‘the land that time forgot’ vibe; although it is a misnomer given it’s location close to some of Montreal’s most interesting neighbourhoods, and it’s easy access to downtown via bike or public transit. To read more click here.

West Highland Way - the last 4
Mes débuts dans la marche de longue distance en Écosse. La fin d'un des classiques de marche écossais, qui est de toute beauté. Lisez-en plus ici.
This is the story of my very first long distance walk, my introduction to this fantastic activity and trail that never get old. Read about it here.

Happy New Year ya'll! - I rang in the year with a couple of good friends and our traditional 'Dinner and Burn the Year Away' fest. Clementine crates and laundry lint are my best (instant) fire making secret.

Still in the heart of winter-self-propelled travel in the way of epic walks from my 'here' to wherever I can get in a few hours. Also finally got my skis on on my favorite winter (and summer) lake in the Laurentian Mountains. There is a new good samaritan, that is tracing a trail all the way and back along this lovely two kilometer surface. It's like I can FLY even though it is lake-flat. Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, sky, outdoor and nature
