Over $6,000 in gift cards were donated to the RHE PTSA Holiday Gift Card Drive to help RHE families in need! Your community and PTSA are incredibly grateful for your generosity.
Don't Forget to Send Us Your Winter Break Photos
Please send any winter break photos featuring your RHE student that you're willing to share to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can show off all the diverse ways our amazing community celebrates the season in our upcoming yearbook!
Who Are Our Next RHE PTSA Board Members?
Help us find out! Many of us on the board have older kids, so we'd love to get some parents/guardians of kindergartners through third graders on our nominating committee (fancy term for a group of people who help track down candidates for next year's board). The time commitment is just a few hours over the next three months.
If you are interested in serving on the nominating committee or would like to know more about joining the PTSA board next year, please email us at email@example.com by Wednesday, January 20.
Order Your 2020-2021 RHE Yearbook Now!
If you haven't already done so via the email sent from Lifetouch Yearbooks last month, click here to order your 2020-2021 yearbook (RHE's ID is 12665721). It's sure to be one of a kind, so don't wait until we're down to extra copies and risk missing out!
Connect With Your Kindergarten Class January 12 & 14
We could all use a community of support during this unprecedented school year, so we hope you will join kindergarten families in your student's class next week for an opportunity to meet and share about the kindergarten experience thus far.
Please see the "Important Dates" section below for a link to join in! These meetings are intended for parents/guardians, but kids are welcome.
New Volunteer Roles for 2021!
Are you looking for an opportunity to meet more families and build community within your student's class, grade, and RHE as a whole?
This month we will be kicking off a Class/Grade Level Liaison program, so please reach out to Kelly Kochman at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in being a liaison (the commitment is only about two hours per month) or have a suggestion or need to share with our new liaison team.
Mark Your Calendars for Our January General Meeting
In addition to regular business and updates from Principal Hodges and Associate Principal Neugebauer, RHE Student Counselor Soo Chin will join us to provide a short presentation on managing anxiety.
We hope to see you at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, for our first PTSA general meeting of 2021 and welcome any questions! Check our newsletter later this month for more information on agenda items.
Participate: Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents/guardians while supporting the RHE community, and no experience is required! Please email us at email@example.com if you'd like more information. Also, don't forget to join the PTSA (scholarships are available) and watch this newsletter for links to join us for our Zoom meetings.
Donate: While 2020-2021 might look different than past years, our programs and events still need your support. Create an account on our new website to donate online, or mail a check to RHE PTSA at the address at the bottom of this email. Employer matching info: Tax ID 91-1092970, NCES School ID 530423000682, NCES District ID 5304230.
Shop: When you shop with AmazonSmile and select "Rose Hill Elementary PTSA" as your charity, 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases will be donated to your PTSA. Also, if you use our link to sign up for Greenlight, a debit card for kids with app-based parental controls, RHE PTSA will receive $30!
Share: Help us fill what's sure to be another unforgettable yearbook by sending your remote learning photos to firstname.lastname@example.org, and don't forget to spare a moment to email a note of thanks to a teacher (be sure to copy Principal Hodges, as she loves hearing about RHE's teachers) or thank a volunteer or PTSA board member on Facebook!
