Loneliness- Let's Be Connected Forum
This one day event will feature excellent speakers, an interesting panel, professional facilitation, an interactive maze and stalls and displays about groups and places to connect.
Guest speakers and panel members include Sam Robinson from Relationships Australia, Sally Morris from Wendybird, Dr Nova Evans and Sonia Goodwin from Sunny Street and Scott Mitchell from Lutheran Services.
This is an experiential Sunshine Coast wide conversation suitable for community members with an interest in this topic, community groups such as clubs, people with lived experience of loneliness (most of us) and participants in support organisation programs. Our wellbeing benefits from connecting with ourselves and others.
Organisations with an interest in incorporating strategies to address loneliness and to intentionally support social skilling and opportunities for connection are also very welcome.
