Welcome to the April issue of NewsBits from NewsBrands Ireland.

As the world continues to cope with the effects of Covid-19, our news publishers keep bringing vital facts, analysis, and information to the public, ensuring they can stay informed during these uncertain times.

Read on to find out about the range of new initiatives which have been launched recently by our members, including home delivery services, special supplements, podcasts, and video content. Digital readership remains at an all time high for many of our news publishers as readers turn to trusted news outlets.

Quality journalism requires funding to ensure it's survival. With advertising revenue understandably seeing a sharp decline in the past month, NewsBrands Ireland is urging the advertising community to work with us and our members to achieve its clients' goals over the coming months. 2.6million people read a newsbrand every week and research shows that we have a highly engaged and quality audience.

With that sales pitch over, I'll sign off and wish you continued good health in the coming month!

Kind regards,

Ann Marie
