Suspension of licence – bet-at-home.com Internet Limited

The Gambling Commission has suspended the operating licence of bet-at-home.com Internet Limited as it carries out a review under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005.

Reminder: guidance for remote operators ahead of rule changes to protect consumers

New consumer protection guidance, which remote gambling businesses are required to take account of, will help them comply with new customer interaction rules coming into effect on 12 September. 

In the current context, including the rise in the cost of living, it is more important than ever for operators to meet these requirements to identify customers at risk of harm.

Fourth National Lottery licence competition: legal update

On 15 March, the Gambling Commission announced Allwyn Entertainment UK as Preferred Applicant for the fourth National Lottery licence.

The Commission subsequently received legal proceedings in relation to the competition process, placing an automatic suspension on our ability to formally award the licence to Allwyn.
