PROMENADE H2020 PROJECT
Started in October 2021 to promote collaborative exchange of information between maritime surveillance authorities. The main goal is to move forward market exploitation through the provision of a new toolkit, based on Artificial Intelligence technologies, able to speed and optimize the analysis of the great amount of data collected via several sources, in order to detect threats at a global scale, faster and with more precision, preventing the reach of EU waters. 16 actors from every part of Europe work together to make PROMENADE a best practice in the maritime surveillance field.

Border Security Journal pubblication
The PROMENADE consortium published an article in the Border Security Journal that talks about Risk Investigator, a new tool, developed within the EU-funded PROMENADE Project by the Partner Transcrime, for identifying vessels involved in criminal activities.
MEDEA project
Promenade is proud to share the establishment of a cross communication synergy with the Medea project. Medea project scope is to establish and further develop a regional network of practitioners and other security actors in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea region.

PROMENADE MEETINGS
The consortium partners have already met several times to exchange updates and results:
  • 3rd project meeting 22nd and 23rd September 2022 in Rome.
  • Mid Term Review meeting of the project on 7th July 2022 (remote)
  • 2nd Progress meeting: 4-5 May 2022 in Madrid, at one of the GMV premises
  • 1st progress meeting and user workshop: 15th December 2021 (remote)
  • KOM meeting: 13th October 2021 (remote)
