Important information about registrations!
It should be noted that all registrations must be completed online and paid online, using the Little Athletics NSW registration portal.
You can use your NSW Government Active Kids Voucher for registration at any Little Athletics NSW centre. A second voucher is now available from Services NSW from 1 July 2019. If you have not already obtained an Active Kids Voucher for your child, you will need to apply for one from Service NSW, prior to commencing the registration. Click here to apply for an Active Kids Voucher. Once you have a voucher, you simply enter the specific voucher number allocated to the child that you are registering, into the appropriate box within the registration portal, and the registration fee payable will be reduced accordingly.
If you are wanting to change from your current centre to a different centre for the 2019-2020 season, please contact the staff at the Little Athletics NSW office at 9633 4511, before proceeding with your registration
Once you have completed the registration and online payment, you will need to attend a ‘number collection day’ at your local centre to pick up the registration kit, which includes the age patch and competition registration number. For further centre information or to find out details regarding a ‘number collection day’ for your centre, please contact the centre.
Don’t forget that you get a FREE ANSW Membership as part of the Dual Registration if you are in the U12–U17 age groups! Just pick a ANSW club of your choice when filling out your registration form. For more information, check out the How to Register page.
A separate email will be sent to current eligible members detailing their username and the centre they are linked to.
Contact the LANSW office at 9633 4511 if you need further assistance or information.

Star Sprinting Clinic
Australian Olympians Anneliese Rubie-Renshaw and Ella Nelson coached a group of aspiring runners at the Star Sprinting Clinic at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre last week.
“Little A’s played such an important part of me as a person,” said Rubie-Renshaw.
“What I learnt was so important, and I still use a lot of the stuff now that I learnt.
“It developed a lot of my characteristics and who I am as an athlete now as well, so I’m so grateful that I did Little A’s.”

On-Track
Little Athletics NSW has decided to utilise an opt-in option for centres wishing to offer the exciting On-Track program in their community.
On-Track aims to teach kids aged 6-10 the fundamentals of athletics in a fun and engaging way.
Check in with your local centres to see if they've opted into the new program for the 2019/20 season.

Congratulations to Start Foundation grant recipient and aspiring Paralympian Ella Osborne!
Ella is a 14-year-old Little Athlete born without a lower left arm, but she has never seen her limb difference as a disadvantage.
Ella loves sport and after joining Little Athletics in 2013 has seen her talent flourish.
"Through START foundation I’m receiving a specially made running prosthetic, which should help balance out my arms and give me more drive whilst I’m running and make my block-starts more stable," said Osborne.
"Little Athletics has been such a great experience for me; I’ve been able to develop and improve in my athletics, whilst also having so much fun and making new friends.
"It has also opened up many opportunities for me and I just love competing at Little Athletics events."

Riley Whatman
One of our Little A’s travelling to Uganda in November for the Love Mercy trip is 15-year-old Riley Whatman.
“I’m looking forward to learning different things about the culture; how they live and what actually happens," said Whatman.
To raise funds for Love Mercy, Riley plans to organise sponsorships and raffles within the local community – he also wants to host a fundraising BBQ with mates from his school.
“I was also thinking a BBQ in our town – there’s only 250 people in our town, so we can try and get as many people as possible down there,” said Whatman.

Isaac Shaw
15-year-old Isaac Shaw from Albion Park Little Athletics is one of the Little A’s travelling to Africa to take part in the Love Mercy Foundation Uganda trip later this year.
“I am so excited to have the privilege of being able to use my passion and gift of running to raise money, awareness and practical support to my friends in Uganda," said Shaw.
“Every child on the planet should be able to feel safe, supported and cared for.”
Isaac represented the Kembla Joggers at the XC Relays in Miranda on the weekend – his squad placed fifth in the U15 Boys 4x3km event, and he ran the impressive time of 10:31.
