Hello Church Family,

I woke up this morning thinking "what an exciting time to be alive!"  I don't always feel that way, especially as I wake up and enter the day - but today was that day.  I wonder how you are doing today?  I pray that the peace and presence of God fills you and surrounds you as you look to Him today for everything that you need.

It has been a blessing to meet and talk with so many of you throughout the week.  I have learned a great deal about our church, our history and the desires that you have to see Jesus move powerfully among us as we embrace His mission together.

As I approach our weekend gatherings and Christmas Eve services, I am so mindful of how different this year is for our family and for all of you as well.  I am excited to create new memories and traditions as a church and my hope is that God will give all of us that same excitement for the season that we are in.

Everything is new for the Dixon's - but that has been such a wonderful reminder of what Christmas is all about.  Christmas is all about the Son of God given for us to make all things new.  His coming not only brings HOPE, PEACE, JOY, and LOVE - but it brings newness of life as we place our faith in Christ.  Sometimes I feel like the true meaning and power of Christmas gets hijacked by lesser things and my heart is always to reclaim the truth of what Jesus' coming was all about.  Let me encourage you this Christmas season to keep Jesus in full view and front and center through all of your traditions, family gatherings and shopping.

I am so grateful to be a part of a church that loves Jesus and desires for the whole world to know Him.  Pray with me that many will come to Christ during this Christmas season - even at our Christmas gatherings.  Please read below to learn of the details surrounding Northwest Church for Christmas.  I look forward to seeing you soon.

Merry Christmas and God bless you!
